WREN - COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS

Gather is working with St Giles to offer the WREN program, training for Community Champions - women with lived experience, who will use their experiences to create a positive change for themselves and other women in their communities.


Gather believes that this partnership & project will further enable supporting women seeking a safe place to find hope & community.

The Gather WREN program is funded by St Giles Trust.

The Learn to Advise training takes a total of 28 hours, across several weeks (excluding school holidays) - aiming to finish in early 2023.

WHAT IS 'WREN' AND WHAT DOES IT AIM TO ACHIEVE?

Through the WREN (Women Rising Enabling Neighbourhoods) project, trained Women Community Champions, could provide support to other women in their communities.

Gather aims that the WREN project will help women to:
- Build confidence
- Gain new skills
- Improve well-being
- Build local networks
- Enhance confidence
- Increase employability
